I paint out of an intuitive sense, working in a narrative style. I try to see into a future that I think might come to pass. I explore themes surrounding children, gender and androgyny, survival, isolation, catastrophe, and the freedom that comes through spiritual healing and rebirth. I want the imagery to create a dream-like tone within the composition and to impact viewers with an emotional gravity, encouraging them to develop their own understanding of the stories being told.


I reside in the rain-soaked Pacific Northwest.
